Academic Integrity
Students are expected to adhere to the Academic Integrity Policy of The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. All work submitted must be the student’s own unless otherwise authorized.
Artificial Intelligence Policy
Students may use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot) for the following purposes:
- Study aids: Generating practice questions, summarizing readings, or explaining concepts
- Research assistance: Finding relevant cases or statutory provisions
- Writing feedback: Reviewing drafts for clarity and organization
Students may not use AI tools to:
- Generate answers for graded assessments
- Produce work submitted as their own original analysis
- Bypass the learning process for assigned readings and problems
All AI-assisted work must be disclosed. The professor reserves the right to modify this policy as the technology evolves.
